I’ve been looking for a salt and pepper halo that’s good quality, preferably human hair and at a reasonable price for a long time. There are plenty of good halos out there but to find a salt and pepper one is no easy task! After reading the reviews, I decided to give this a try! Y’all!! I cannot believe the quality, the ease of use and most importantly, how it matches my hair! The color!!! It blends right in! I’m going to get it trimmed to blend the length to my hair. I doubt anyone could tell a difference between my hair and this halo once that’s done! I’m super happy with this purchase!For reference, my hair is about 1.5 inches below my shoulders and I got a 16 inch. Perfect length! Once it’s cut to blend, it’ll give me a nice 1.5- 2 inches of length!I was going to return but decided I would try and work with it. I initially dyed it the same color as my own hair which was a better match. Then I cut off about 3 inches. I also adjusted and shortened the fish wire. Still not working well as band is too long for my small head. Coughing it up to amistake purchase.Good color match! And good for thin hair but unfortunately the hair was falling out in clumps after brushing and putting heat in it. The ends seem a little thin that’s why it’s great blended in with thin hair but if you don’t have thick hair it won’t work!It looks amazing on, nobody knew it wasn’t my hair. 50% of my hair fell out 3 months after Covid and this is helping while my hair grows backIt was of pretty good quality, to me it smelled like the processes aren’t hair usually smells. I bought the dark brown color, but when it came it was really reddish brown. I dyed both my own hair and the extensions a blue black color. After that, It was too blend. My hair is naturally thick and curly(I’m half Black/Mexican) so I only needed the one packet. It washes and curled easily and I could see it lasting pretty well for 6-8 months for semi use(maybe 2-3 times a week). The description and photos are exactly what you’ll get. Hair is good quality, not too think, not too thin. I’m very happy I purchased this.Hair is good quality. I got it in the #4 straight medium brown, which was slightly too dark for my hair. Out of the box, it had a chemical smell and it was straight, but it had creases from how it was folded, so the first thing I did was wash it with Pantene repair and protect. It dried really frizzy because the hair was naturally wavy and really dried out. So, I made a hair mask of egg yolk, olive oil, and milk, and soaked the hair in that overnight. The next day, washing the mask out took 2 washes, but when it dried, it was really beautiful and wavy. It still had a chemical smell, though. So I washed it multiple times that week using only conditioner so that the waves would stay pretty. I wanted the color to match my hair perfectly, so I ordered henn and indigo, which is a damage-free way to dye hair brown or reddish brown. I saturated the extensions in henna to redden them, and saturated my own hair in both henna and indigo to darken it. Now my hair and the extensions are the exact same color. The extensions no longer have any chemical smell; they just smell like henna. I also cut the extensions to the length of my own hair. Now whenever I wear them, my hair looks thick and beautiful and no one can even tell I’m wearing extensions. For the price the hair is excellent quality. Condition it well, and it will be beautiful.Updated review, 2022: So, I've had this a couple months. It sat in storage before I finally got around to coloring it with Arctic Fox to match my hair. I wear my hair curled, so naturally I went to curl the extension piece as well. When I did, it became very apparent this is NOT 100% human hair like my original purchase. Strands of synthetic hair were MELTING onto my curling iron!! I have only heat styled this ONCE and used a non-damaging hair color (basically a stain) and it looks horrible. The synthetic hair melted and broke, and became frizzy. Maybe its a blend of synth and human but it should state that in the listing which it does NOT. The quality has DEFINITELY gone downhill since the first one I bought and I would recommend buying a halo piece from a different vendor.I'm getting so sick of these Amazon sellers changing their products and you expect to get the same quality at the very least when you purchase again because they never made a new listing for a different item, they just modify their old listing to abuse the old reviews to sell an inferior product!OLD REVIEW, NO LONGER VALID: If you have thick hair this probably isn't the best halo for you. I have very fine thin hair and it works amazing. The color I purchased is a little more ashy than pictured but it still works, I plan on washing it a few times in hopes that it fades a bit. If not I will try toning it as my hair pulls warm no matter how much I try toning or coloring it lol.I would definitely recommend this item and I will likely order another in the future when mine gets worn out!The colour match was perfect. I bought the 20” no. 4 and the thickness is gorgeous, it’s already kind of layered so it’s not a blunt cut which makes blending so much easier. The hair is soft, the halo band is clear and can be easily hidden, the clips in the back secure it wonderfully!! It also comes with an extra band and clips. Love love love!! Will purchase again when it’s time for a new one!!!I have always struggled with having long hair as my meds make my hair fragile. So having this halo is very confidence boosting. I really love how soft the hair is. Easy to style. It takes a little bit to get used to install. And making it look invisible. My one recommendation would be to get a couple of the extra clips they use and sew some on the edges. I did it and it holds it so much better.I’m very disappointed in these extensions. Upon arrival I thought it was perfect, but after trying them in the smell was terrible. I then washed them but the color in them kept washing out. I used salon product. In order to wear these now I will have to color them. Initially the color was identical, but one wash later they don’t match.I don’t normally write reviews but omg these halo extension are perfect quality for the price ( I’m a professional hairstylist btw ). Yes they aren’t that full but for fine/medium hair these are the perfect amount to add volume and length without being bulky. I bought the 16in and they are wayyyy longer than I expected so this company doesn’t skimp out at all. Colour is a bit off from description ( is more of an ash/beige medium blond ) but the colour blends perfect in my platinum hair but a more wintery blonde effect. All in all I’ll be ordering another set for my summer hair!!
